Corey MacMillan lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife Natascha and their dog
Strummer. He has spent the past year in Portland pursuing various hobbies and
interests including screen printing and photography along with recapturing his
youth through various playground sports including dodgeball and kickball . He is
also an avid bowler and karaoke addict.
Corey was born in Sacramento, CA ,
the first child of Thomas and Catherine MacMillan. He has one younger brother,
Andy. Corey spent the majority of his youth in Sacramento before attending the
Holderness School in New Hampshire although he would return to Sacramento
to complete high school after one year. Following high school,
Corey headed out East once again to attend the Boston University School of
Management. After graduating in 1996 he stayed in Boston until making the decision to return to California in 1998. He settled in Santa Barbara
where he would meet his future wife Natascha in January of 2002.
Later that year Corey was presented with the
opportunity move to Los Angeles for a position at Sony Pictures Imageworks on The Polar
Express. While he was happy in Santa Barbara and was enjoying a blossoming
relationship he leapt at the opportunity and moved to Los Angeles
in 2003.
During a trip to visit his brother in Portland in
the summer of 2005, Corey and Natascha fell in love with the city and made plans to relocate. In September of that year they moved into a wonderful
home in the Mt. Tabor neighborhood of South East Portland.
Corey and Natascha were married on April 7, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
